A new concept in storage has been gaining ground with those who store grains. This is “intensified aeration” or “natural aeration,” a process that does not use a ventilator, but rather an exhauster in the storage environment. This enables a natural outlet for the hot air inside the stored grain and allows cool air to enter from outside. In order to understand this new concept, we will address the different forms of existing aeration: forced aeration in conventional storage and aeration in storage using exhaust.
